Building: Grand Lisboa Location: Macau, China Completion: 2008 Architect: Dennis Lau & Ng Chun Man (DLN) Structural Engineers:  Maunsell Consultancy Services Ltd. AECOM MEP: Parsons Brinckerhoff Consultants Private Limited, later acquired by WSP AE Interests: This 856 foot tall skyscraper was designed to reflect the shape of a lotus and has cantilevers over 65 feet on each side supported by a cable stayed structural assembly. The sphere at the base is a thin shell structure braced by a skeletal steel frame enclosed by an aluminum curtain wall.
