Building: CJ Only One Center – South Korea
Location: Seoul, South Korea
Project Lead: Cannon Design
Client:  CJ Corporation
Size: 1.2 Million square feet
Facilities: Offices, café bar, gymnasium, childcare, meeting rooms, data centers, and laboratory spaces
Design Concepts: Research and development facilities in three high-rise towers arranged around a dynamic central atrium to increase collaboration. Shading ribbons respond to solar exposure to alter the internal heat production.

AE Interests: Multipurpose, Solar Shading, Perforated Metal Envelope, Energy Efficiency, Curvilinear

Facilities: Clincs, Radiation Treatment, Imaging, Support Services
Design Concepts: Improve patient comfort with natural light, water features, colored light design and nature views. The Lantern of Hope is an open air entry to the building that is illuminated at light with LEDs.

Technology & Techniques: Renovated Astronomy coelostat for storm water retention, cooling tower storage, and entrance for daylight to all floors. Uses the eVap 1500 invented by Cannon Design Products group to reduce power load consumption by the laboratory equipment. Hydrogen fuel cells for main and back up power.
