AE Interests: LEED Certified, 98 percent of the complex made out of recycled steel; has an education center, classrooms, offices, a theater, and a large outdoor terrace with views to Lower Manhattan as well as a recycling plant; processes and markets more than 200,000 tons of plastic, glass, and metal each year; protection against a rise in sea-level significantly above city requirements; site fill is made from a recycled glass, asphalt, and rock composite.
