AE Interest: Motorized system to raise/lower seating and floor system for varied theatre arrangements. Ground level opens up on 3-sides to outside plaza, Wyly-green color at all hazard areas creates color motif for building. High-strength concrete angled columns create open corner of building, extruded aluminum “curtain” on exterior.  `

AE Interests: A converted shoe factory, without many windows the exterior is coated with a phenolic resin faced ply that is normally used is casting concrete. There is only one window that is on the first floor that only provides a view of the sky for those inside while all other light in the house comed in through skylights, one for each room.

AE Interests: Largest single span glass house that mirrors the hilly landscape. Supporting structure is made up of tubular steel and aluminum glazing that minimize materials used and maximizes light transmission. The temperature conditions on the inside and out of the glass hill are constantly monitored by a computer system that automatically adjusts each glass flap for optimum energy consumption. The building also uses collects rainwater for various uses and uses a biomass boiler that burns timber trimmings as its primary heat source which creates a highly sustainable building.
