AE Interests: cocoon-like structure, crisscrossed woven bamboo strips that allows for small holes to filter in light, surrounded by broken rocks and concrete that turn into a pathway to the entrance all within a small grass space, central fireplace underneath an aperture in the roof, the structure is meant to be an organic void in a highly urban area, small benches throughout the structure, other materials used are broken glass steel, earth

AE Interests: a pedestrian bridge connects both sites of the center and acts as a socle for the Main Hall, Hall of Fame and Industry Shell, the Main Hall is a 5000 seat auditorium, outdoor amphitheater with 3000 people standing capacity, the Industry Shell has production facilities and performance spaces, the Hall of Fame is a cube with four floors of exhibition space, a restaurant, research facilities, and a lecture hall

AE Interests: the winner of a design competition in January 2009, 3 theater spaces steming from a transparent cube, 1500-seat Grand Theater, 800-seat Multiform Theater, and 800-seat Proscenium Playhouse, the Grand Theater and Multiform Theater can be combined into a Super Theater, the cube’s facade is corrugated glass and aluminum panels cover the 3 theaters

AE Interests: Taiwan’s first “green” library, first to receive a Diamond grade EEWH Green Building Label in Taiwan, solar panels, rainwater collection, rainwater permeable pavement, a reconstruction from a previous building with structural issues, use of timber from managed forests for the main structure
