AE Interest: first suspended bicycle roundabout; concrete structure rather than steel; supported from beneath by columns and from above by steel cables attached to a central steel column; *engineering professors at local universities were asked to research a cable vibration problem, and they found that the wind was creating vortexes around the cables—fixed problem by applying additional dampers at cable connections
