AE Interests: Very open lower floor that encourages group work and creativity. The second-floor boasts curving slats that mimic tidal waves, as well as allows for natural light to enter easily. With the first floor’s use of columns and windows instead of a traditional facade, the second floors “tidal wave” illusion is more evident.

AE Interests: St. George’s Hall, in one of the most well known and historically sensitive castles in the UK, was completely gutted by fire in 1992. Restoration included modern techniques (laminated hardwood, etc.) without affecting the historic feel of the hall.
