Location:  Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan
Completion:  2001
Architect:  Toyo Ito & Associates
Client:  City of Sendai
Interior Architects:  Kazuyo Sejima, Karim Rashid, Ross Lovegrove, K. T. Architecture
Structural Engineer:  Sasaki and Partners

AE Interests:  3 elements = plate, tube, transparent skin, 7 steel decks on 13 hollow columns (one at each corner for support and 9 carrying ducts
