AE Interests: steel and reinforced concrete, covered with a skin of glass and aluminum parts network; accommodates approximately 10,000 students across the three vocational schools: fashion, information and technology, and medical welfare; 50 floors of three rectangular classroom areas, rotating 120 degrees, arranged in a curvi-linear form around the inner core; inner core consists of elevators, staircases and shafts; three-story student lounges located between the classrooms, facing three directions: east, southwest and northwest; a co-generation system installed within the building produces about 40% of the structure’s power and thermal energy, which reduces greenhouse gas emissions and increases efficiency; elliptic shape allows for even distribution of sunlight, limiting heat radiation to the surrounding area, and aerodynamically disperses strong wind streams
