AE Interests: Received the highest BREEAM rating that has been awarded to an office building (2016) due to its innovative sustainable design. It is energy positive by using 70% less electricity than other office buildings of its size by using solar power panels and a geothermal well . To reduce the energy cost even more the building was shaped based on the path of the sun and they co-developed the Light-over Ethernet (LoE) LED System with Philips to adjust energy use [a].
