AE Interests: designed to echo the peaks and valleys of the nearby Alps; main stadium in a bomb crater from WWII; asymmetrical translucent canopy shelters spectators without casting uneven shadows on field; 271 miles of steel cables strung between 58 cast steel pylon and 8000 plexiglass panels
