AE Interests: Exposed structural concrete found all throughout; allows for easy maintenance and provides visual relief from surrounding stucco buildings. Academic spaces are compartmentalized with public/social spaces found in between floors. Underneath the plaza is a deep-sea research lab. Three potholes found in the main plaza allow light in from above.
