Second tallest building in Seattle. 59 stories (850 ft tall). Office, Retail, and residential spaces. Curved curtain walls and sloping floors. Pays homage to neighboring buildings and local environment. Solar positioned steel prisms to increase energy efficiency. Bends to preserve views of and from building next door. New composite “Speedcore” made of 536 panels. Structure completed in 10 months at reduced cost. Anchored secant-pilled shoring wall at base. Performance based seismic design.
