AE Interest:
Combines traditional Chinese pagoda architecture and the segmentation of a bamboo stalk into 8 story segments; The top of each segment houses mechanical floors [a];  Contains a 728 ton tuned mass damper (TMD);  LEED Platinum certification for Operations and Maintenance in 2011; Facade is double paned green glass that reflects and blocks heat gain by 50 percent; Energy efficient lights, low-flow water fixtures, custom lighting controls; A/C system consists of high efficiency ice water chillers, brine tank, and ice storage tank; Smart Elevators climb from 5th floor to 89th floor in 37 seconds equipped with constant pressure units, dampers, and ceramic brakes [b]
