Building: London Centre for Music
Location: London, United Kingdom
Estimated Completion Date: 2023
Architect: Diller Scofidio + Renfro
Local Architects: Sheppard Robson
Acoustics: Nagata Acoustics
Theater Design Consultants: Charcoalblue
Engineering Consultants: Buro Happold
Cost Consultants: AECOM

AE Interest: The foyer is comprised of two levels. The second level connects Barbican Estate’s Highwalk to the Centre.

The hall (on the right) is built for excellent symphonic sound, yet it is flexible enough to accommodate creative work across multiple disciplines. There are exposed acoustically controlled pods integrated into the hall seating that provides an opportunity for education.
