AE Interests: Located in the square of St. Batholomew’s Hospital, the oldest hospital in London (founded in the 12th century). It was recently renovated to serve as a center that provides support to people with cancer and their families.

It was designed as a “vessel within a vessel within a vessel.” As seen in the top right picture, the main structure is a concrete frame. The inner “vessel” is perforated bamboo and the outer “vessel” is matte white glass with colored glass.
