Building: Vanna Venturi House
Location: Chestnut Hill, PA
Architect: Robert Venturi
Structural Engineer: Keast and Hood Structural Engineers 
Construction: 1962-1964

AE Interest: Known as the first example of Postmodern architecture, design centered around the two vertical elements: the stair and the fireplace, architect went through 6 full designs in 6 years before constructing, design based on the ideas of Contradiction and Complexity, built for his mother.
