AE Interest: Such precaution was taken into consideration due to climate issues MLS teams have had in Dallas and Houston from Texas weather. Because of this, the stadium was designed with opening and oriented in such a way that natural breezes can blow through the venue. Unique construction methods had to be thought of to support the “second largest roof in MLS”. One of the methods were making the roof a cable supported structure which also allowed the ability to stay under budget due to the use of less steel. Built in 7 months the metal roof structure was also designed to amplify the noise back to the fans during loud games.
